Antimatter Matter
|
Antimatter - Antimatter or contra-terrene matter is matter that is composed of the antiparticles of those that constitute normal matter. If a particle and its antiparticle come in contact with each other, the two annihilate and produce a burst of energy, which results in the production of other particles and antiparticles or electromagnetic radiation.
Alfven-Klein model - The Alfven-Klein model is an astrophysical model in which there are giant astrophysical explosions that result from the mixing of matter and antimatter.
Photon torpedo - The photon torpedo, an imaginary weapon of science fiction, is a space torpedo armed with a matter/antimatter bomb. The concept is frequently mentioned within the fictional Star Trek, where these weapons are often part of a starship's and space station's armaments.
Dilithium - Dilithium is a fictional crystalline mineral in the universe of Star Trek. A beam of matter and antimatter colliding in dilithium generates a plasma that is used to power the warp drives that allow starships to travel faster than light.

Creationism Deadlock - ... creation of an identical Voyager and crew. Neither crew has much time to weigh its options. Capt. Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) has perhaps never before faced so fateful a decision. The European Union makes decisions. Its central themes--that informal norms often matter more than formal rules, that agency often matters more than structure, and that abrupt change often punctuates deadlock--are developed systematically throughout. The book provides a clear and theoretically grounded analysis of how the European Union makes decisions. But which one? But while matter has been duplicated, ...
